Title: Using GIS to Determine Marine Species Habitat
Description: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will host a 35 minute geospatial activity for 4th-7th graders. This activity will introduce Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and challenge the students with a marine habitat science question. Students will take on the role of scientists and will use maps and GIS to determine habitats of four marine species.
