GIS Technician

Duties: Contractor shall perform routine and complex geospatial operations as directed by GIS Analysts and supervisor. The candidate will work in a team environment producing geospatial products and services Skills Required:  ArcGIS and ESRI mapping products. Experience authoring Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) compliant metadata. Must have good communications skills, both oral and written. Must work well in a collaborative environment. The GIS functions would be primarily related to military, civil works, real estate and environmental projects.

Requires: at least 12 months of experience as a GIS Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, & Environment (SDSFIE); Trimble Mapping Grade GPS to collect and process field data; Bentley MicroStation CAD products; ERDAS Imagine software.
