Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the

School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) Hawaii Institute of

Geophysics and Planetology (HIGP), Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System

(PacIOOS) Program Office, located on the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus in

Honolulu, Hawaii. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational

needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with

applicable Federal/State laws.

MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY: $2,607/Mon.

DUTIES: Responsible for providing on-going ocean-related data services and

information to the public via standard web services. Works with the PacIOOS data

management team to download, manipulate, reformat and upload identified data sets

and metadata files to be accessed via the PacIOOS servers. Modifications to the data

will also be properly recorded. Communicates with team scientists and works with them

to produce web-optimized graphics and web content.
